Doctor of Chiropractic

Doctor Pagano grew up in St. Benedict, Pa. and is now a resident of Elmora. He graduated from Bishop Carroll High School in 1982, and from the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown in 1986 with a bachelor's degree in psychology. He is a 1998 graduate of Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport Iowa where he was his class president and also helped teach underclassmen adjusting techniques along-side of the Palmer College professors. Dr. Pagano opened Pagano Chiropractic Clinic in January 1999 and he has been in full time practice since then. Dr. Pagano has continued to add the latest in new technology for the treatment of sports injuries, neck, back and extremity pain to his practice regimen. This includes the use of "Decompression Therapy" a traction based procedure and deep tissue laser treatment for both acute and chronic conditions.

In 2010, Dr. Pagano was certified by the American Chiropractic Board of Sports Physicians as a Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician. With this 100 hours of post-doctoral studies in the diagnosis and treatment of sports injuries, he is in position to be recognized as a leading authority in his area for the diagnosis and treatment of injured athletes. Since completing the requirements for Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician, Dr. Pagano has continued his post-doctoral education in sports injury treatment and prevention by working towards attaining the status of Diplomate of the American Chiropractic Board of Sports Physicians. This certification requires an additional 300 hours of study in sports injury treatment and prevention and includes 200 hours of post-doctoral education, a written and practical examination and 100 hours of contact with a sports team. Also, Dr. Pagano is "full body certified" in Active Release Techniques. Active Release is a soft-tissue management system that is effective for treatment of many musculo-skeletal disorders. Dr. Alyssa Pagano, D.C.

Doctor of Chiropractic

Doctor Pagano grew up in Carrolltown, Pennsylvania and is now a resident of Elmora, Pa. She graduated from Cambria Heights High School in 2011 and from the University of Pittsburgh in 2016 with a Bachelor of Science degree. During her time at Pitt-Johnstown she was on scholarship for the college's Cross-Country, and Track and Field teams specializing in middle distances. She is a June 2024 Graduate of Palmer College of Chiropractic. During her time at Palmer College she worked alongside Palmer professors as a teaching assistant in the Adjusting/Technique, Neuromusculoskeletal, and Physical Diagnosis Departments. While still a student Dr. Pagano obtained a Spine Level 1 certification through Active Release Techniques. ART is a soft-tissue myofascial release technique which can help to alleviate symptoms of a variety of musculoskeletal conditions. During her clinical rotation at Palmer Clinics she interned alongside a doctor who specializes in Pediatrics but enjoys seeing patients of all ages.

Upon graduation of Palmer College in June 2024 she joined the family practice to work alongside her father. In her spare time Dr. Pagano enjoys spending time with her family, her chocolate lab Brooks, friends, working out, and traveling. Dr. Pagano plans to continue her post-doctoral education by completing one of the Diplomate programs offered by the American Board of Chiropractic to better serve her communities.
